Retro and Modern House is a project designed by Coblonal Arquitectura located in Andorra la Vella, Andorra. It was completed in 2013 and covers an area of 300m2.
Coblonal Arquitectura: “In this project, we may breathe a certain retro air, conferred by some pieces, but also a strong base formed by the solid balance between distribution, materials and volumes. In this case, the wood determines and contextualizes the furniture elements updating them. Despite generous dimensions of the house, the distribution is thoroughly designed to maximize the sociability in the day zone and the rest in the night zone. Opened space, but parceled by the disposition of the different volumes that define the zones. Volumes fruit of the furniture design that allows us to use it as distributor and store at the same time, maximizing their functions. The result is a retro and modern house.
Joan Llongueras and Coblonal Arquitectura have been committed the interior design project. We started form the foundations and pillars, so from a clear space. It gave us the opportunity to design the best distribution for our customers, almost without previous constrictions.”
